Proposition Summary
REAPPORTIONMENT. ASSEMBLY DISTRICTS. REFERENDUM STATUTE. A "yes" vote approves, a "no" vote rejects, a statute (Chapter 537) enacted by 1981 Legislature revising the boundaries of the 80 Assembly districts and adopting other provisions relating to redistricting and placing an initiative or referendum on the ballot. Summary of Legislative Analyst's estimate of net state and local government fiscal impact: Approval would not affect state or local costs.
