LOW RENT HOUSING
Proposition Summary
LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Repeals Article XXXIV of the State Constitution prohibiting any state public body from developing, constructing or acquiring a low rent housing project, as defined, until a majority of the electors of the city, town, or county, as the case may be, where the project is or will be located votes in favor thereof. Financial impact: Increased expenditures in amount determinable only by experience.
