Proposition Summary
Assembly Constitutional Amendment 26. Amends Section 31, Article IV, of Constitution. Inserts proviso authorizing the State, or any political subdivision thereof, municipality, or other public corporation to be stockholder in any mutual water corporation when stock is acquired or held for supplying water for public purposes or for use of inhabitants thereof; declares such holder shall have the rights, powers, privileges, obligations and liabilities, of other stockholders in the mutual water corporation in which stock is so held.
