Description
CIVIL RIGHTS. DISCRIMINATORY CONDUCT. HOMOSEXUALITY; BISEXUALITY. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Provides that no statute or ordinance may take effect or remain in effect that establishes homosexuality or bisexuality as a civil right or prohibits discriminatory conduct on such basis, unless the provisions thereof are submitted and approved by a two-thirds vote of the electors. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local governments: Measure would not result in any significant costs or savings to the state or local governments.
