Abstract
Paul's treatment of law, found in his epistles and other parts of the New Testament, has been one of the most widely discussed subjects in Christian theology. In this Article, the author examines pitfalls in past discussions of this subject and points out the necessity of considering the entire complexity of the role of The Torah in the Jewish culture into which Paul was born when considering his attitude toward law.
