UC Law Journal
Abstract
The law in all of its aspects permeates the Book of Job. In this Article, the author presents the story of the man, Job, in terms of its teachings concerning the law. Upon analysis, this story demonstrates that law, important as it is for daily endeavors, cannot offer an ultimate perspective on our existence. This perspective must come before and be the basis for the law and its reasoning.
